Who can enter and categories

The races are British Cycling circuit races, so you enter the race that matches your British Cycling racing category. In 2026 each round had these races:

  • 4th category only
  • 3rd and 4th category (3/4)
  • Masters 40+, 3rd and 4th category
  • Elite, 1st, 2nd and 3rd category (E/1/2/3)
  • Women, 2nd, 3rd and 4th category

The 2027 races and categories will be listed here when the dates are announced.

Licences and membership

You'll need the British Cycling licence or membership that the race requires. Each event's British Cycling page sets out exactly what's needed, so check it before you enter.

New to racing? You'll start as a 4th category rider, which is the right race to look for. The 2027 licence requirements will be confirmed here when the dates are announced.
